VP Custom Insurance Solutions is an independent insurance agency based in Bishop, California, serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout rural California. Our work is grounded in education, clarity, and long-term relationships—especially important in a time when the insurance landscape is changing rapidly.
Our agency has deep roots in the Owens Valley. It began in 1988 as Corsaro & Beach Insurance Agency, later becoming Beach Insurance Services in 1997 under the leadership of Robert Beach. From the beginning, the focus was local: helping neighbors understand their coverage and feel supported when they needed it most. Over time, the business grew into a trusted, family-run agency serving generations of local clients.
In 2020, ownership transitioned to Amber Williams and Ashlynne Vega. As longtime employees of the agency and residents of Bishop, the transition was a continuation—not a departure. In 2021, the agency was renamed VP Custom Insurance Solutions, reflecting new leadership while maintaining the same commitment to local service and personal attention.
Today, we are a 100% women-owned independent insurance agency navigating a volatile California insurance market alongside our clients. We understand that coverage options are shifting, requirements are evolving, and uncertainty can be frustrating—especially for rural communities with fewer resources and alternatives. Our role is to help clients understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to make informed decisions that support stability over time.
